Evaluation

Evaluation is a method to determine the merit and worth of a program. Often this can be misleading and people say “I don’t think that’s for me — I don’t have a program.” That’s why I use program and initiative interchangeably. Think of new training modules, marketing campaigns, expansion of service/product offerings, and social interventions. From that lens, every organization has programs.

All that said, evaluation has many different components, which vary in appropriateness for an initiative — all based where an initiative is at in its life cycle.

Find yourself needing to assess the effectiveness of your investment? Want to make decisions based on data instead of anecdotal evidence? Hoping to build the capacity of your organization to make data-driven decisions? Let’s talk evaluation.
